Closet???

Ok, this subject had to happen sooner or later, apparently it's because I'm a woman (I'm a walking cliché, obviously). Anyways, I love walk-in closets, dressing rooms, whatever you want to call them. If it's where you put clothes, shoes, and bags, I'm In.
For now I have two big closets for my clothes, and one for shoes and bags, but I'm hoping to get something fancier (Actually bigger is what matters) some day; one that you could walk in.
Until then, here are a couple of ideas to have more closet space, other than the usual dressing room...

Some more Thom Filicia

Carrying on with Thom Filicia, today we'll be checking out some of the interiors he designed. I found this quote from him about how he would describe the perfect room, which says a lot about his esthetic: "Maybe this quote from him might help: "The room has to be as comfortable as it is chic. As personalized as it is aspirational. As unexpected as it is familiar. Well balanced is the key."

Famous interior designer: Thom Filicia

Celebrity interior designer Thom Filicia is this week's famous interior designer. I actually chose to feature him, because I crushed (not on him) on his lake house, whose photos I will be posting today. The house has a beautiful view of a lake, but what's a better view is the interior, rustic elegance is the best way to describe it.

I actually watched Filicia on "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" (whose french version I used to follow as well), so I was excited to get to see his own home. It's like being backstage of a show...

House crush: In House Designers

A while back, during my daily Internet browsing for interesting interiors, I came across photos of a beautiful living room opening (with the largest window door I have ever seen) into a vast balcony with an amazing view.
Today I finally found photos to the rest of that house, and I was not disappointed. The apartment is designed by the team from "In House Designers"; Andréa Bugarib, Betina Barcellos, and Karina Salgado.

Ethnic Monday: Turkish rugs

We talked in an earlier post about kilim products, focusing on the Moroccan ones. But, this time I wanted to share about Turkish kilim rugs, more precisely, which have different designs, but yet are as colorful.
These rugs have become a trend on their own, and are being associated with modern interior design. They are used in so many ways (sometimes even on walls) in different rooms and spaces.

Famous bloggers' ofiices

As a blogger myself... I don't know if I have mentioned this before, but I have a fashion blog/magazine called Kaftanmag, in addition to this blog, I'm fascinated with other bloggers' work spaces. But in my case, my office is my desk in my bedroom...

Professional bloggers out there made successful businesses from their blogs, and their offices are tangible proof of that.
