Canopy heaven

I always had a fascination with canopy beds since I was a child, as they sort of reminded me of fairytales, and princesses. They still fascinate me, and even though I can have one (my father has a carpentry business after all), I always feel reluctant, as they seem pretty overwhelming to me. For some reason, I believe that a canopy bed could only suits couples.
